Welcome to the valuations section. By clicking on the link here you will be visiting the site of Interactive Investor. Here we have recorded your investments and use their powerful resources to update the valuations each day (in the case of shares every 15 minutes). We have used this system very reliably for many years and it will allow you to see at a glance how each of your investments is performing.
It is important to remember that we are not providing the price feed data and on occasion this can be running behind normal update times which for Life Insurance and Pension Funds OEICS and Unit trusts etc is often undertaken at around 8pm each evening.
Of critical importance is; Where you are taking income from investments this may not be reflected in your valuation as seen on this screen. Please call us to find the definitive figure in these circumstances. We do periodically update the key data affected by withdrawing income and can agree with you a reasonable frequency for this update.
In the same way, where you are making monthly contributions into a plan this may not be reflected. Typically this is in a pension plan.
Also, some companies take their management charges by encashing units that you hold in your investments. Thus the number of units can reduce and so marginally affect your on screen valuation by up to 3% over a 12 month period. This differential does depend upon the actual fund management charge and our annual fee.
The information that this element of our service gives to you is very detailed and we have invested heavily in terms of Information Technology and time to bring this service to you.
